Your Calling: “Follow me as I follow Christ”

We are not only called to evangelize, we are called to disciple. This is a much deeper relationship than just sharing the gospel. And if you disciple others, you will most likely get hurt ... understand that if you are going to be a leader, you are going to have to be okay with that. Being vulnerable tears down our defenses. We first have to come to the place where we are vulnerable with God before we can ever be open with people.

Your Calling: Not Called, or not willing? (Part 1)

So many Christians think “the calling” is this big thing where we hear the voice of the Lord telling us to be an evangelist, or a pastor, or a missionary. We think it is reserved for the extra holy who are willing to sell everything and move to another country or state or live below their means as the pastor of a fledgling church. Well, if you think that, then sorry, but you are wrong.
